Last weekend there were storms all over south east Queensland.
Except for here.
We got a little bit of rain, but not enough.
It's crazy to think it was flooding at the beginning of the year.
Now it is so dry.
However, we were caught in the middle of a heavy downpour driving home from the Sunshine Coast on Sunday.

I don't think I've ever seen that Supertramp video. It was a doozy of a weekend wasn't it? My post has very much the same theme - Queensland in summer! What was that about 'beautiful one day, perfect the next'??
ReplyDeleteYour snap has brought back all too many trips where the rain was so bad that we had to pull over to the side of the road until it let up. Or worse, when the rain was so bad that you couldn't see the hood of your car (ooops sorry ... bonnet) and eveyone just stopped right on the highway! Usually in Florida or Georgia. (You DO know you are driving on the wrong side of the road, right? LOL!)
