a Song - Saturday's Song

I'm starting a new weekly spot here on

a Snap, a Set & a Song.

On Tuesday I play Tuesday's Tune.

That is usually a new song.

So I've decided to reserve Saturday's Song for a golden oldie.

Here's the first cab off the rank...

Last night I saw this on American  Idol and I thought they did an amazing job!

I love them all.

Here's the original...

Which one do you like best?

If you'd like to play a Saturday's Song link it up below.

Have you seen the ad on TV for the new Aussie drama coming to Channel 7?
A Place To Call Home
It looks fantastic, I can't wait!
And this tune from the promo is stuck on repeat in my head.
I love it.

If you've played some music on your blog this week, why don't you link it up here?

Or you can join the fun and make your own Tuesday's Tune post.

Happy listening and have a great Tuesday!

a Song - Tuesday's Tune

Anyone who knows me knows I love pop music.
The poppier, the better.
Like this little ditty from Olly Murs.
It reminds me of another song but I can't think which one.
What do you think?

It's been 11 days since we went to the Keith Urban concert.
You probably already knew that because I blabbed about it all over social media!
Just in case you missed it, I also blogged about it HERE.
I can't get his songs out of my head.
It was the best show I've ever seen.
He is playing his last show in Brisbane tonight,
the one that was postponed due to the weather and floods.
My husband's sister and mother are going.
I soooo wish I was going again!

At the moment I'm hooked on Masterchef: The Professionals.
No surprise there I'm sure!
This is the song they play for the opening.
I love it!!
Do you?
(It's the piano intro that gets me)

Did you watch X-Factor last year?
I did and I was so pleased when Samantha Jade won.
She looks and sounds like the perfect little pop star.
And I loved her winner's single.
But I am pretty disappointed with the video.
What do you think?
Do you like it?

Happy listening...have a great Tuesday!

And don't forget to link your Tuesday's Tune below :)

Last night I watched Pitch Perfect.
I thought the movie was a bit weak...odd...something...
But I loved the music!!
So this week I have two tunes from the movie.

Happy listening and have a great Tuesday!

We both love it!
I couldn't find an official video but I love this live performance anyhow.
