Last weekend we went for another picnic to another new (to us) location.
We discovered Tannanbar, which is just south of Maryborough on the Fraser Coast.
It was simply stunning. And better yet, we were the only ones there.
It was like a deserted paradise.

I love going to the coast but only in winter, never in summer.
I hate the feeling of my skin burning to a crisp.
And as much as I love the sea and the sand, I do not like to swim in it.
I love to look at it, listen to it and paddle in it.
So this week's set is perfect for a picnic at the coast followed by some wading in the water.
After you roll your pants up and kick your thongs off, of course!

I love that shot of the beach - looks like the one near my son's (former) house. Of course, it wouldn't look like that in the winter!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWe've been on the coast (well, we live on the coast of course) in Atlantic City, but haven't been out - spent all the time in the casino.
As for cruise songs, my daughter just got back this morning from her anniversary cruise.
